How We Make Dinosaurs

Our scientists and artists create the look of the dinosaur according to the pose and colors our clients choose.

Our Chinese factories create a steel skeleton called an armature, and affix motors.

Foam is wrapped over the armature and carved by hand to match the dinosaur in our drawings.

Silicone skin is stretched over the foam and painted.

The dinosaur is shipped to Los Angeles where we open it to put in silent air-powered pumps and a computer “brain” to power the dinosaur.

We ship the dinosaurs to their location. The biggest dinosaurs are shipped in sections which are lifted into place with a crane, then stitched together.
